Asian Art in London are delighted to present Traditions Within Contemporary: A panel discussion moderated by Nicole Schoeni of Schoeni Projects.
Founder of Schoeni Projects and Board Member of Asian Art in London, Nicole Schoeni works at the intersection of heritage, contemporary art, and design — fostering dialogue across cultures and generations.
Lloyd Choi is the founder and director of Lloyd Choi Gallery, an international platform presenting contemporary Korean art and design rooted in heritage and material-led practices.
Leo Nguyen is currently Gallery Director at Thang Long Art Gallery – a second generation, family ran gallery in Hanoi. Founded in 1996, Thang Long is known as one of the most prominent and longest-established art galleries in Vietnam. The Gallery specialises in Vietnamese fine arts from the post-French-colonial era to post-1986 Renovation period, through to Contemporary.
Mark Slaats is the founder of Slaats Fine Art, a consultancy and advisory firm specialising in the diverse and rich tapestry of Asian art, from ancient works of art to contemporary masterpieces. Mark is also a Board member of Asian Art in London.
Schoeni Projects, Slaats Fine Art, Thang Long Art Gallery and Lloyd Choi Gallery will all be exhibiting work in Conduit Street Gallery, Sotheby’s, as part of Asian Art in London, from 1st – 5th November.
The panel discussion will begin at 13.45 pm on Sunday 2nd November at Sotheby’s Devonshire Gallery, Ground Floor, Sotheby’s, 34-35 New Bond St, London, W1A 2AA
The panel discussion will be limited to 70 people, and spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
