Sikh Arms and Armour
The Wallace Collection houses a remarkable collection of Sikh arms and armour, including some of the finest examples of Sikh weapons in a public collection. Highlights from the collection’s Sikh holdings include: a sword described in the 1865 catalogue as having belonged to Maharaja Ranjit Singh (1780-1839), a Sikh turban helmet and a shield bearing portraits from the Lahore court.
