THE LIVING TAPESTRY: INDIA’S NATURAL WORLD THROUGH TIMELESS TRADITIONS
The exhibition presents finely rendered depictions of flora and fauna from the natural world interpreted through the lens of distinct artistic traditions practiced by diverse communities across India. The artists are from the Gadhwa kam sculptors of Chattisgarh, Orissa Pattachittra, the Bikaner and Mughal miniature artistic traditions. The exhibition underscores our timeless fascination with the natural world, presented here through diverse visual languages.
