Bloomsbury Gallery

back image gallery

Since its opening in 2015, the Bloomsbury Gallery has successfully connected the East with the West by specialising in Contemporary Chinese Ink, Asian heritage and cultural handicrafts, and has vigorously promoted and integrated the co-existence of tradition and modernity under the roof of its Grade II listed building located in the heart of historic London.

Formerly used as an art gallery in 1920 and subsequently turned into the headquarters of the famous publishing house Thames and Hudson, the Bloomsbury Gallery has hosted several exhibitions showcasing works by Chinese and British artists, participated in various international fairs and shows including the annual Asian Art in London fair and the Chelsea Flower Show and regularly organises lectures, forums, cultural exchanges and workshops for private and academic purposes, all within close proximity of the British Museum and some of London’s most prestigious institutions.
